Use this when: someone has added a new request and the team has not reviewed it.
Move it when: the team decides to ignore it, save it for Later, or make it clear enough for Ready.
Quick reference · Team project management
Use this guide when moving a task. Everyone should be able to make the same decision.
Use this when: someone has added a new request and the team has not reviewed it.
Move it when: the team decides to ignore it, save it for Later, or make it clear enough for Ready.
Use this when: the request is worth keeping but is not planned for this week.
Move it when: it becomes important enough and the team has time to take it on.
Use this when: the result, responsible person, excluded work, and finish check are clear.
Move it when: the responsible person actually starts working on it.
Use this when: someone is actively working on the task now.
Move it when: the result is finished or work cannot continue.
Use this when: work cannot continue without information, a decision, or an action from someone else.
Add: what is needed, who is needed, and when the team will check again. Return it to Doing when work can continue.
Use this when: someone has used the agreed finish check and the result passed.
Afterwards: if a new need appears, create another task instead of quietly adding more work to this one.
