Laundry is a sequence
Choose the event: drying setup, state change, movement, folding, or storage.
The boundary image
洗濯物を取り込む = take laundry that was outside and move it into the home. It does not imply that the laundry is dry, folded, or stored.

取り込んどいて = 取り込んでおいて. 干し直す means set it out to dry again, usually after changing place or arrangement.
